Florida with friends

Our dear friends Fred and Elaine visited for a week in February.  We go way back to participating in each others' weddings.  Every time we get together, it's like no time has passed.

We wandered around the Albin Polasek Museum Sculpture Garden in the Czech sculptor’s home in Winter Park.  We loved this one—the sculptor carving himself out of a block of stone.

We took them out for their first camping trip to Fort DeSoto Park on an island in Tampa Bay.

Oooh, we have the men incarcerated.  Maybe Elaine and I could go shopping.

 

The park has one of the top beaches in the country.  Too bad it was too cold to swim.

 

 

The Ringling Museum in Sarasota is an amazing place.
